Mae Mai at peace in the mud at Elephant Nature Park

In spite of her injury (a dislocated knee), and with some distinct recovery due to the use of a prosthetic donated by David Casselman and the Gentle Giants team, look at Mae Mai and, if you can recall, compare her to the elephant who arrived here at Elephant Nature Park on 28 January 2021.

She is at peace in the mud during this rainy season. Watching her is to recognize her contentment despite her infirmity. She is beautiful to watch, especially at this slower speed, where we can see her subtle movements more clearly.

Note: Mae Mai (with a dislocated knee) is a different elephant to the other elephant at the park with the same name.
