Lek always finds time for her gentle giant family
Our founder Saengduean Lek Chailert, is constantly challenged to find time that she enjoys the most.
However, she her love and tenacity prevail and manages to dedicate quality moments with her beloved elephants. Every moment spent in their loving presence revitalises Lek’s strength and determination to endure absence from her family.
Every day Lek advocates for the protection and welfare of elephants and other animals in Thailand. Her workload is onerous, driving the efforts of Save Elephant Foundation and strengthening the rights for all animals but in spite of all this, Lek ensures she is able to convey her unswerving devotion and support for her gentle giant family.
Oh! And she even finds time and the resulting solace, in simple practical tasks such as removing weeds from the pasture.
