Highlights

Bathing with Elephants - Elephant food preparation and Feeding - Short forest walk (around 30 minutes) - Vegetarian lunch - Karen tribal hospitality

For more than 20 years, Karen tribes have rented their elephants to Elephant Camps because they could no longer legally use the elephants for logging work. The elephant owners have changed their way of caring for their elephants, with the support of Save Elephant Foundation. These lucky elephants now roam free in their natural habitat, without riding. It is truly wonderful what you can see, when elephants are allowed the freedom to be themselves.

Activities

  • Attire in traditional Karen clothing
  • Elephant food preparation, feed the elephants with seasonal fruits, sugar cane and bananas
  • Walk with the elephant in the forest
  • Vegetarian buffet lunch
  • Prepare banana mix with herbs for the elephants (banana herbs balls)
  • Enjoy watching the elephants having mud bath and join them in the mud pit
  • Refreshing in the water with elephants
  • Feed banana herbs balls to the elephants
