Our Duty of Care

Our duty of care is to all those under the protection of our umbrella. This includes our staff and guests. We host Elephants, cats, dogs, buffaloes and many other rescued species. We owe them all a duty of care and will do our best to provide the best environment possible. We deeply value the contribution made by all which helps us achieve our goals of providing a sanctuary for those who cannot speak for themselves

Your Declaration

All bookings to our projects are accepted only on the basis of the following terms and conditions. You, all members of your party and Elephant Nature Park are bound by them.

You MUST agree to the following declaration shown during the booking process, so we can process your booking.
"I confirm that the above details are correct and I agree to your Terms and Conditions"

All deposits are made in order to secure places on our booking system and are considered "delivery of service" and are non-refundable.

Privacy Policy

The use of any details you provide us are for contact or booking purposes only.

We will never sell, rent or share your personal information with a 3rd party, especially your email addresses and phone numbers, without your express permission, unless required by law. Never ever.

General Conditions

Elephant Nature Park makes no guarantees that volunteer positions, day visits and overnight trips will proceed as described within our website (or in any other description of events, timetable, or schedule) depending on local conditions, emergencies, and animal behavior any given day.

We reserve the right to cancel or re-book your reservation in the event of any natural, political, or other unforeseen act over which we have no control.

We reserve the right, at any time, to request full balance prior to your visit.

Elephant Nature Park safety rules apply to staff and visitors.

We reserve the right to refuse service and terminate any visitors booking with us, prior to arrival or during your time with us, without refund, should any of these conditions be ignored and/or disregarded, intentionally or not.

Visitors and Volunteers are responsible for any loss and/or damage to their property, and damages cannot be claimed in any eventuality. All media recordings (e.g. photographs, audio, video) taken at any Elephant Nature Park or Save Elephant Foundation projects remain the commercial property of Elephant Nature Park, and any distribution or resale of such recordings require the written consent from Elephant Nature Park.

All visitors to Elephant Nature Park accept they are solely responsible for their own health, safety and belongings and that they fully understand and accept the conditions outlined above.

Accommodation

We provide simple, clean accommodation for overnight visits and volunteers. Our accommodation is organic and we appreciate your understanding of this. If your visit includes accommodation, it is booked on the condition that you may not expect any form of luxury or private bathrooms although in certain circumstance they may be available.

Pricing; adults, children and infants

Adult rates appear on each visit page and apply to anyone 12 years old or over

Child rate, generally 50% of adult rate applies to children under 12 years old (2 - 11 yrs)

Infants under 2 years old occupying a seat will be charged the child rate (50% of adult rate)

Project Rebooking and Permitted Changes to your Booking

No changes of date are possible to your visit booking:

  • 4 days or less before your visit - day and overnight visits
  • 10 days for all volunteering programs

But if you change your booking before 4 or 10 respectively of the visit date, a changing fee of 980 Baht per booking will be charged and payable before 4 or 10 days respectively.

You cannot change from one visit type to another after the booking has been made. You must cancel your booking with us make a new booking. Deposits for one trip type are non-transferable to another.

Leaving early or changing the duration of your stay does not entitle you to any rebate or refund for unused time.

Should any of your party be unable to go on the tour, or they cancel within 4 days of the tour date, their balance is payable in full.

Cancellation, No-Show Fees & Refunds

All bookings when cancelled are irreversible, deposits are not transferable and are non-refundable.

Volunteering (All Projects)

Cancellations 10 or more days before volunteer start date: 5,000 Baht per person will be non refundable from your deposit.
Cancellations less than 10 days before volunteer start date: No refund possible

Balance payments

All remaining balances must be paid in cash in Thai Baht or USD$.
