Enjoy a full day visit to Elephant Nature Park including time at our special ‘Hands Off’ project. Observe our rescued elephants living in their chosen herd and learn about their individual histories. At the park, the elephants are free to interact and play in natural surroundings including the nearby river, custom built pools and mud pits.
You will also have the chance to see our other rescued animals at the sanctuary, including buffalos, dogs, cats, horses, goats and birds.
Your visit starts with a picturesque drive through rural countryside to our sanctuary. On the drive you will learn about our model of compassionate care at Elephant Nature Park and some of the stories of our rescued and orphaned elephants.
Guests to Elephant Nature Park can expect an unforgettable experience with elephants in a nurturing environment. Observe elephants living in their chosen herd as they socialize, eat, and play.
By visiting our park you are helping to support our herd and future rescue missions as well as helping to secure a better life for elephants at our regional projects.
Start: 7:30am - 8:00am pick up from your Chiang Mai city hotel or start at office at 7:20am. - (Please check map)

‘Hands Off’ Project: where the elephants roam freely as a herd and uniquely viewed from the SkyWalk.
Observe the Herd: Take a walk around the park and observe the elephants in their chosen herds and learn about their stories and special needs.
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious and varied vegetarian buffet of Asian and Western delights.
Observe Bathing: Walk with your tour guide and the elephants to the river that borders the park. Watch these gentle giants from the river bank as they splash around and play.
Observe Interaction: Observe the elephants socializing in their herds and playing in the mud pit or covering themselves with sand after bathing in the river.
Visit Rescued Animals: Visit the Dog Project and learn about our rescued dogs and our dog adoption program. Visit Cat Kingdom and learn about our rescued cats. Visit other rescued animals at the park.
Return: At 3:30pm it’s time to say goodbye to the elephants before the hour-long drive back to Chiang Mai where you will be dropped off at your hotel/guesthouse.
*Park visits are all about spending quality time observing and being with the herd. We do not adhere to a strict schedule. The best way to make the most of your visit is to relax, watch, and learn about elephants.

Return: 4:30pm - 5:00pm to Chiang Mai city.
Baggage / Luggage Allowance: One small day pack per person. What to Bring: hat, sunscreen, sandals/flip flops, shoes for walking, camera, bug repellent, refillable water bottle, (rain jacket in the rainy season, May - October).
