When the day winds down

All day long, the elephants at Elephant Nature Park (ENP) enjoy the freedom to live as they choose—running in herds, playing with toys in the activity area, swimming, rolling in mud baths, and feasting on their favorite foods.

When the day winds down, they return to their accommodation and settle in for a peaceful rest. They sleep soundly on clean sand and natural bedding, under sturdy shelters designed to protect them from the sun and rain. In the colder months, we provide fireplaces to keep their spaces warm, especially for our elderly elephants.

If you’ve ever wondered what true elephant happiness looks like, it’s in these serene moments—elephants sleeping peacefully, completely free of fear or stress, knowing they are safe, loved, and cared for.
