KhunDej and Saree are not related by birth, but they have come together at our park and share a special bond like siblings. With Danny as the matriarch of the group, they are able to be in a family like they would be naturally. We are so happy to see these two interacting with each other and getting the love from other elephants that they need and deserve.
Yindee was born in August, 2013 and now he is 1 year and 7 months. His mother is the young female elephant, Mintra. She is a former street begging elephant who was hit by a car when she was just 4 years old. She is very sociable, she has enjoyed and encouraged the attention of both Hope and Jungle boy. So, one of these young male elephant is the father of Yindee.

As with every new rescued elephant arrival at Elephant Nature Park, days, weeks or even months are taken by the new arrival to observe their new home. They visit different herds and later they will make a decision which herd they want to join, if herd members are willing. Jaidee did the same. Since she arrived at our park less than a month ago, she has become so confident to walk and introduce herself to different family groups, especially the group that have young elephants.
