Beautiful scenery and awesome jungle walks in the company of rescued elephants make for an unforgettable day. What you will be doing Morning Activities Elephant project and safety video on the 90 minute drive to the project Elephant Introductions Greeting and Elephant feeding Walking with Elephants Lunch Time Afternoon Activities Mountain Walk with elephants Preparing rice ball treats for the elephants Feed the hungry herd Transfer and return to Chiang Mai city All About Your Trip: Starting From: 8:00am – 8:45am. Pick up from your Chiang Mai city hotel, or you must be at our office no later than 8am. – If you are staying out of town (as per the map) please start the trip at the office in city. Alternatively, contact the office staff to arrange a pickup at a convenient location. Returning: around 5:30pm / 6:00pm to Chiang Mai city. Baggage / Luggage allowance: One small day pack per person What to Bring: Hat, Sunscreen, Sandals/Flip Flops, Change of clothing as you may get muddy or wet, Shoes for walking, Camera, Bug Repellent, Refillable Water Bottle. This project can be very muddy and a change of clothing and footwear is essential. Trip Operational Months: All Year Round Age Suitability: Adults or children over 7 years if accompanied by an adult welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Fitness Level: Moderate/Fit: Walking on mountain side, up slopes and often muddy, walking up to 3.5 hours during the day.
