Elephants are surprisingly good swimmers and love water. Wild herds seek
out ponds and rivers for bathing. The elephants can use their trunks as a snorkel
and hose pipe. Our elephants are washed twice a day, in the morning, a popular sight for visitors, and when they finish work at around 13:30. After that it's home to the hills. Quite a day! |
