Lek is living out a dream. What an amazing dream-real elephant conservation.
Elephant Nature Park is an absolute
sanctuary for Lek’s rescued elephants. The elephants are all loved,
fed, watered and watched and for any ills they may have. They have
fabulous surroundings in the hills beside a river with plenty at space
to roam. It was a delight to be a volunteer and help Lek with her
project.
Working with the elephants was more than
working with the gentle giants! It was also working with friendly
Thai people. It was a privilege to go to the elephant haven, the Jumbo
Express, bath and ride the elephants - all amazing experiences.
