We were @ your wonderful park in october2006 and we wanted to say how
your park & your work has made such an impact on ours & our children's lives.
Your park was the absolute highlight of our trip to Thailand. Our children have
come home & spread the word of your work to all our friends & family - to the
point where some of our friends are now thinking of a holiday to Thailand just
so they can come to your park. We wear the t-shirts & hats every where, which
then brings up the topic of your park in conversations. Gabrielle our 9yr old
daughter wants to come back & volunteer for a week (which we intend on
fulfilling one day) & when you ask her what she wants to do when she grows up -
the answer is now alway's the same - "i want to go & help all the elephants in
Thailand at the nature park".
Although it has now been nearly 3 months since our visit, our children still
comment (nearly every day!!!) on your park & your beautiful elephants (they
especially love "hope"& "meadow").
Thank you for providing all your special elephants (& cats & dogs etc, etc) with
a sanctuary where they can be cared for correctly, even though you face such
difficulty with gaining funding support etc.
We look forward to visits in the future -whenever we hear our wooden bell chime
(carved by hope's mahout - sorry we can't remember his name)- it is a constant
reminder of your inspirational park & the wonderful work you all do!!
