# 29 Experience of joining Loy Kra Tong festival, take part with Thai traditional activities with all volunteers at the park   

Loy Kratong is a northern Thai event which is often describes as the most beautiful festival in the country. Chiang Mai and Sukothai are the principle places to enjoy this wonderful festival. There are many activities in the night time such as a "beauty contest with a difference", The Kratong Creative Contest, and other events that make our volunteers very happy to enjoy this tradition since everyone in the park can take part and float Kratongs in Mae Taeng river together.
