A vet student from United kingdom works with our vetMiss Georgina Johnston is studying to be a vet at Royal Veterinary College in London. She comes to Elephant Nature Park to learn a little about elephants and to contribute something to "this fantastic project" This is the video while the vet teaching her: Georgina on why she came to Elephant Nature Park: I am studying to be a vet at Royal Veterinary College in London. I found about Elephant Nature Park on the internet and after reading about the park and seeing previous volunteers testimonials, I thought it sounded perfect for what I wanted to do. I have been here 2 weeks and it has been a truly amazing experience while walking with the elephants everyday feeding, bathing and treating the sick ones, I have learnt so much about their behavior and how to care for them. They are beautiful, intelligent animals who really deserve their newfound freedom and loving care at the park. Some of my highlights here include rescuing an old male elephant and bringing him back to the park and spending an afternoon playing with the young baby, Chang Yim and Faa Mai. I come to Elephant Nature Park helping to learn a little about the elephants and to contribute something to this fantastic project. All my expectations have been fulfilled and more. My thanks to everybody who has been so willing to share their extensive knowledge with me and allowed me to participate in all aspects of elephant husbandry and medicine at the park. This is a video while she is preparing some medicine to apply to the elephant's eyes:
