Rara our young
baby elephant collapsed and died suddenly.
This was a
tremendous shock for all. Only the day before she was
full of joy. Swimming and enjoying a mud bath. In the
morning she could not walk or stand and she passed away
laying down. We wait an autopsy report.
In the other sad
news Kham Meum, the old elephant who was sick for many
years passed aaway. He had been in very poor condition
since his rescue.
So the new year
brought us this terrible news, we are all very sad
thought it has brought us some comfort that we were able
to give both of them a happy place to stay for an, all
to short, time.
