17 Aug A massive clean up was underway at the park and throughout the
affected areas of Chiang Mai. Our offices were sluiced out and we returned to
normal. Damage was taken into account and communication equipment and telephones
are now fully operational. Visitors and volunteers have returned to our park
The floods were the worst in over 40 years and were largely the result of
heavy rains further North, and a full to capacity reservoir that had to be
drained.
Thanks to all messages of encouragement and help we received, they were
deeply appreciated.
