Elephant Nature Park

Message from the founder

I am from a local village just a few kilometers away from where we established the park. I am glad to have the chance to encourage the preservation of my local culture and play a part in keeping this precious creature alive.  There are real & extremely serious problems ahead for the Asian Elephant and I hope that I can impress upon you the importance of projects like mine. We now have 18 elephants including infants under two years old.

I realise that many of you will, unfortunately, not be able to visit our park in Northern Thailand. This is a great pity because we feel sure that you would come away with an empathetic understanding and an acute sense of contribution towards conservation. To visit a thriving traditional village community, see elephants in their natural habitat, mountain safari, oxcart riding, bamboo rafting and other attractions is practically guaranteed to give you a memorable and exciting day of purpose.

We hope that you will consider a visit to our park very soon and we look forward to meeting you. You could also volunteer for a longer stay Meanwhile I welcome you to our web-site and hope you will enjoy learning about our programmes of conservation in this beautiful region

The site is packed with details about elephants, oxen and local cultures. We'd love to hear your comments via email or posts in our guest book.

All that remains to be said is .. thanks for your visit. This is an active site so please bookmark and visit us often. And don't forget to tell your friends about us as well. Every person who visits can help to spread the message that these graceful creatures are under dire threat of extinction.
