Trilly is a middle-aged female elephant. She has
had sixteen previous owners and has had to work hard
for all of them. She has even been forced to mate
with an overweight male elephant and this caused
sever back injuries, which she still suffers from.
We rescued her from a trekking camp located near
Elephant Nature Park. Trilly is a disabled elephant
who is now unfit for work as a logger or to cart
tourists on her damaged back and leg. |
