In Loving Memory

Elephants have a life span similar to that of a human being. Some of them arrive in such poor condition that their time is much less than it should be. The heart break in losing a herd member is felt by all at the park and, perhaps even more so, by the grieving herd at the loss of one of their group.

Ging Mai A miraculous tale of a baby trapped between trees for the first days of his life.
Jabu Feet problems brought her to the Haven
Siam A Surin rescue enjoys his final days at the park
  Thong Bai The family maker
Boon Khum The tuskers whose pride and joy almost cost him his life
Max A gentle giant much loved by all park visitors and staff

Gone from the park

Some of the elephants we take care of are at our camp for periods of recuperation. The legal owners of the elephants sometimes return the elephants to their old lives. We do what we can to raise the funds to buy these elephants but the owners may choose to take them away. At the very least we have given them a welcome break with our herd.
